Return Policy

Delivery to Ukraine and Belarus has been temporarily suspended until further notice, due to the unfolding events in the area. We are closely monitoring the situation and will do all we can to resume delivery into the country as soon as possible.

Due to recent developments, we are currently unable to process payments in Russian Rubles, therefore all payments being processed in Russian Rubles will be processed in US Dollar.

Due to strikes by Brazilian Customs Agents, we have been informed by DHL of expected delays of five to seven days for inbound and outbound shipments.

 

FULL PRICE merchandise is only eligible for a full refund if a return is initiated via our Returns Portal within 20 days of order fulfillment. Returns initiated after 20 days will not be refunded and may qualify for exchange or store credit only. Returns must be dropped off at UPS within 7 days from initiating refund.

SALE PRICE merchandise is only eligible for an exchange or store credit if it is initiated via our Returns Portal within 20 days of order fulfillment.

All international orders are FINAL SALE and are NOT eligible for returns or exchanges. International includes the U.S. territories of Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands. Alaska and Hawaii are also NOT eligible for returns or exchanges.

All returned merchandise must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged and placed back into original packaging with all original tags and labels attached. Please be aware it is at the discretion of the company to deem an item damaged.

LEATHER RETURNS - Leather product can be returned per our policy but will incur a 10% restocking fee. It is at the discretion of the company to deem leather product fit for return.

We kindly ask that you do not send your return using a personal shipping label. Any returns received that are not processed through our returns portal will not be accepted. See “Returns & Exchanges” for return instructions.

We only accept returns on items purchased directly from DL1961.com. We do not accept items purchased from other retailers.

RETURNS AND THEIR IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT
While we will honor your returns, we ask that you be mindful of the negative implications on the environment that accompany them. Trying on multiple sizes may be convenient, but the emissions from shipping additional orders and excess packaging takes its toll. Our fit experts are always available at hello@dl1961.com to answer questions about fit and sizing before you make a purchase. Thank you in advance for being mindful of your impact while ordering.

Making a Return or Exchange

All returns and exchanges must be initiated and completed via our Returns Portal.

In our Returns Portal you will be able to return or exchange your order and obtain a complimentary UPS return label.

When initiating a return please have your order number, located on the confirmation email and the email address used to place the order ready.

  • Input your order number and email address used for the order.
  • Select the items you’d like to return, followed by selecting the reason why you are returning this item.
  • You will then be able to be given the option to either exchange for a new size, exchange for a new item or return it.
  • Complete your return, download and print your UPS return label.
  • Attach the UPS return label, if possible to the original packaging and drop off at UPS. We ask customers to allow up to 14 business days for their returns to be processed and refunds issued. Once your refund has been issued, you will receive an email notification.

If you are exchanging your order, your exchange order will be placed once UPS has scanned/received your return package.

Any returns received at our corporate office or warehouse that have NOT been processed via our Returns Portal will not be acknowledged or refunded.

Shipping

Please note, UPS 3 day, 2nd Day and Next Day Air are NOT free and are contingent on package weight and final destination.

For orders in the United States, we offer Ground, 2nd Day and Next Day shipping through UPS.

All continental US orders qualify for free UPS ground shipping. This excludes the states of Hawaii, Alaska and all US Territories.

The following non-continental US states will incur a surcharge for shipping to the selected location:

Alaska - $30.00

Hawaii - $20.00

For UPS Ground shipments, please allow 1-2 business days for your order to be processed. Once your order has been processed, it will be delivered within in 3-7 business days depending on the destination.

For orders placed with expedited shipping (overnight delivery or 2-day shipping), please have your order submitted before 11:00AM EST to qualify for same day shipping.

Please note, we do not ship to PO Box addresses at this time. All orders submitted with a PO Box address will not be processed.

International Orders

All international orders will be shipped via DHL. Shipping rates are based on destination.

Your order will be shipping on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis. You will be liable for any local sales taxes or import duties that may be assessed and added to your purchase price. We are required by law to disclose the full value of the package contents and cannot alter this value.

At this time, we are not able to process returns, exchanges or refunds on international orders or orders from Hawaii or Alaska.

In case of shipment refusal once order is processed and shipped, you will not be eligible for any refund.

Coupon and promotional codes are now accepted for International orders. Gift cards cannot be used on International orders at this time.

Common FAQs

When will my credit card be refunded?

  • Once your package has been received by our warehouse, your refund will be processed within 2 weeks. Refunds will be made to the original form of payment.
  • Note that the credit may not show up until your credit card's next monthly billing cycle.

How do I change or cancel my order?

  • Once an order has been submitted to dl1961.com, the customer cannot make any changes or cancellations to the order. If a customer has any questions regarding their order, please email hello@dl1961.com.

How do I apply a discount code or gift card to my order?

  • To apply a gift card or discount code, you must enter the code in the section at checkout that reads 'gift card or discount code'. Unfortunately, discount codes cannot be combined when other promotions are active on our website or with other discount codes.

When will my order ship?

  • Once you place your order, it will be shipped from our distribution center in New Jersey. Please allow 1-2 days for the order to process. You will receive a shipping confirmation once your order has shipped.

What if my merchandise arrived damaged?

  • Please email photos of the damaged items to hello@dl1961.com for us to review. Photographs should also show garment with tags and full packaging. Please note orders will only qualify for a replacement if purchased directly from dl1961.com. Damaged goods have to be reported with two weeks of purchase to qualify for a replacement. Items that are returned damaged without noting damages in the return portal are not qualified for refund. Please be aware it is at the discretion of the company to deem an item damaged.

What if I received the wrong item?

What if my item is not as pictured?

  • Because the resolution and color composition of each computer monitor, tablets and mobile device varies, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the colors for products displayed on our site. Also note that due to the hand-finished nature of some of our styles, each garment may be unique.
