David Brook is an up and coming songwriter from Massachusetts. David is signed to Universal Records and has worked with influential artists such as Eminem, Neon Hitch, Rome and Benny Blanco. His unique ability to write in almost any genre has landed him in sessions with some of today's biggest pop stars, hip hop acts and indie rockers. David started playing piano at the age of 12 with no training, and cites Billy Joel, Rob Thomas and Chris Martin as his biggest musical inspirations.
Growing up, we would all be in the kitchen about to eat dinner, and all of a sudden, we would hear [David] on the piano playing these amazing love songs. And we would all look at each other and say, "He is only 12! Where did he learn how to play like that?" It was truly amazing and from that point on, his life was dedicated to music. The minute we would get back from school, David would sit at the piano for hours on end.
Although David has worked with some of music's biggest names, he still remains the most humble and down to earth person I know. Not only is he the funniest person (not just saying that because I am his sister), but he has the biggest heart and would literally give you the shirt off his back.
With a truly innate ability to craft melodies and cultivate hooks, David Brook has become a highly buzzed about writer in the industry. Already having some of music's biggest stars record his songs, we expect huge things from this talent in the coming year.
