In September 2008, DL1961 launched in New York City with a mission to create “the perfect fitting jean” using a revolutionary technology called XFIT LYCRA® fabric. Today, the line is known for using the most technologically advanced fabrics in the industry, such as DLX and dlpro, to provide our customer with an unparalleled fit.

A fabric crafted from INVISTA’S XFIT LYCRA® technology, DLX is a high performance denim with 360 degrees of movement that will never sag, bag or lose its shape.

DL1961 has taken denim to the next level by combining XFIT LYCRA® technology with Lenzing Modal® and Tencel® fibers to create the ultimate fit, shape and feel.
